Admissions

We accommodate children from the September following their 4th birthday until 11 years old without reference to ability, aptitude or ethnicity. 

The admission arrangements for the school in relation to each relevant age group at the school, including any arrangements for selection, any oversubscription criteria and an explanation of the process of applying for a school place is provided by NCC and you will find this in the Key Weblinks in the sidebar.


Our most recent Ofsted visit was in July 2017. Following that visit the school overall effectiveness was judged to be Good, contrasting siginificantly with our previous result. This is an excellent indicator of how well the school has improved since the previous visit and how the school is striving to be outstanding.

Curriculum - Learning Challenges

Detailed information on how we support the curriculum on a termly basis, for each year group, can be found in the Curriculum Overviews panel in the sidebar. This includes the names of any phonics of reading schemes used at KS1
